The first Crystal Light I received had bad lenses, but worked otherwise. ApevieSimulator replaced it and the second set had one bad lens, but neither lens was as bad as the first headset. I received replacement lenses after about a month from Pimax, the lenses are now good. The headset is great, no other issues. ApevieSimulator gets a 5 star!

So far so good - the Pimax Crystal Light is performing better and looks better than the Reverb I’ve been using for 2 years. Not as heavy as i thought based on other reviews, but def needs the comfort face gasket as the foam one they give you is pretty uncomfortable. If you can get the DMAS speakers, do. I'm currently waiting for them to become available again. Would recommend you buy from Apevie!

Visuals are very good. However, I've had intermittent sound problems and am working with a Pimax support ticket to see if the problems may be worked out. Unit is very system heavy. With high settings in MSFS 2020, generally getting about 35 FPS with an I5-13600k and a Gigabyte RTX 4090. I prefer not to resort to 90 Hz upscaling or OpenXR tricks. I hoped for higher FPS with straight settings. I got 35 FPS with REVERB G2 at Ultra. But this experience is nonetheless better, assuming native sound problems are resolved. Otherwise, possible RMA.
